What can I expect at my first visit?

Dr. Gibbons will review your intake forms and dental records. Then you will be given a complete oral examination. Possibly, x-rays may be taken. You should feel little or no discomfort during your examination.
Dr. Gibbons will then discuss possible treatment options, addressing your goals, concerns and questions.

Appointments

One of our main goals is to stay on time for all appointments. You can help us by being on time for your appointment. If you must reschedule for any reason, please give us as much advance notice as possible.

Cancellations

Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. If you cannot keep your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours advance notice to avoid any charges.

Emergency Care

If there is an urgent problem and you are currently a patient of record, please call our office at 480-368-0060 and we will accommodate you as soon as possible. If the office is closed, you will be given specific instructions on how to obtain emergency advice or care.

Financial Policies

Treatment plans, including fees will be provided before treatment is performed. Payment is expected at the time services are delivered. The office staff will assist with financial arrangements. We accept cash, checks and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover).

Dental Insurance

Our office does not accept dental insurance. Payment is expected directly from the patient. Our office staff will provide the information necessary for you to file a claim to your insurance company for your reimbursement.

Pre-medication

Patients with certain medical conditions (e.g. certain heart conditions and artificial joints) may be asked to pre-medicate with antibiotics prior to treatment. We do this with your safety in mind. Please inform us if you have a condition that might need pre-medication.
